Christian Virtue and Academic Merit
A note from the director
Dear Prospective Parents:
Welcome to our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program. We are pleased that you have chosen Promise Town as your partner in the care and education of your child.
Servicing children starting at 6 weeks of age, we strive to provide the building blocks upon which your children can establish foundations for life. By offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to encourage spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth, we get to be influential in that process--what a privilege and tremendous honor!
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” - Prov. 22:6.
Like you, we are devoted to the holistic development of your child. In doing so our goal is to cultivate Christian virtue and academic merit. With that, comes an expectation of an exciting environment conducive for learning and discovery. We will provide our families with the highest quality of service by engaging their children to maximize their efforts and potential. Learning will take place at every level—from sensory play and language recognition beginning in our nursery to reading, writing, and critical thinking development in our older classrooms!
Early childhood development is extremely important to us. We are committed to providing a quality learning experience for your family. We are honored that you have chosen to join our community and look forward to building a lasting relationship. Please read our Parent Handbook thoroughly. It is important that those who choose the services of Promise Town have confidence in and agree with its Philosophies & Mission Statements.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Andrea D. Takase, B.A.

What we believe about educating young children…
Interactions: Children learn best through their interactions with the world and others. This definition includes interactions between children, between children and adults, and children and their environment.
Empowerment: We believe in the potential and ability of every child. We challenge children and trust them to rise to that challenge. This empowerment encourages social/emotional wellbeing and a sense of independence.
Environment: We believe a child’s experience is enriched not only by those around him/her, but also by their setting. Therefore, our classroom environment seeks to reflect natural beauty through physical space, as well as create learning spaces that are aesthetically appealing, inviting, and engaging.
Lifelong Learning: We believe that every member of our community should be committed to lifelong learning. This means that there is the potential for every one of us, children and adults, to change and grow.
We support these beliefs through the practice of our G.R.A.F.T.E.D. Principals.
Growth: We inspire every scholar in our program to grow in their knowledge and skills daily.
Respect: We teach our scholars respect and responsibility of oneself, others, the environment, and property.
Academics: We hold high standards of expectation for our scholars’ academic journeys. All our classrooms are based around an advanced and immersive intellectual curriculum and environment.
Faith: We cherish spiritual and mental development of our scholars through our foundation and practices of faith in Christ.
Traits: We exhibit and encourage positive character traits and skills for our scholars.
Equip: We equip our scholars with skill set that they will use in every stage of their lives.
Determination: We believe in settings high goals and reaching them through determination, resources, aim, skills, practice, and action.
